Frank Dolan will host a Sports Performance Information Night on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Sports and Fitness Performance, located at 4 Cedar Avenue in Islip, N.Y. from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. With all the sports performance information out there, it can be difficult to know what is right for high school athletes. Speed development, strength and conditioning, as well as sports nutrition, are all important factors in the success of today’s athlete. It is important to know the facts to avoid injury, as well as get the most out of their hard work.

In this intimate one-hour workshop, Coach Dolan will uncover the myths of sports performance training, as well as map out a blueprint for individual athlete success. Coach Dolan has been a Sports Performance Coach since 2001 and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2004. In addition to working with high school and college athletes, Frank has trained professional athletes from the ranks of MLB, the NBA, and the NHL.

Topics to be discussed during the hour-long session including speed development, strength and conditioning, sports nutrition, weight training, Olympic lifting, power development, agility, coordination, balance and functional movement.
