Long Island Tennis Magazine, the Ultimate Guide for Long Island Tennis, has announced that the 2nd Annual Long Island Tennis Expo will take place Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Farmingdale State College in Roosevelt Hall (Auditorium and Expo Room). The event will be free to attendees of all ages, brought to you by USTA Eastern/Long Island Region and Long Island Tennis Magazine. We are anticipating to surpass last year’s attendance with more than 1,200 tennis enthusiasts expected to attend throughout the day to enjoy interactive discussions and presentations, tennis demonstrations, exhibitors, games, and much more.

The all-day event will begin with tennis discussions and presentations. USTA Eastern/Long Island Region will be presenting a QuickStart Tennis demonstration teaching young and beginner players how to get started in the sport of tennis, along with other interactive games as well.

The Long Island Tennis Expo is an incredible opportunity for local and national businesses and professionals to expose their products and services to the ever-important New York market. Using this event as a base, all companies that deal with tennis players, tennis families, coaches or the sport of tennis in any way can use the Long Island Tennis Expo to showcase their products and services in a one-day, one-stop location.

“The Long Island Tennis Expo is the ideal opportunity for the tennis community to come together with families all under one roof for a free event showcasing the sport of a lifetime,” said Danny Burgess, President of USTA Eastern Long Island Region. “Building off the success of last year’s event, we look to further showcase the sport of tennis through a day full of activities for the entire family.”

The Expo will highlight the leaders in tennis clubs, summer camps, USPTA professionals, training techniques, manufacturers, experts in the field of sports medicine, college scholarship advisors, training facilities, reps from colleges and universities, health food and energy drinks, tennis travel destinations, and much more.

The Long Island Tennis Expo has a limited number of exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities available. The 1st Annual Long Island Tennis Expo was a sold out event.
