Although a lower back injury from the Italian Open caused Andy Murray to miss the 2013 French Open, Murray will be ready to play at the Wimbledon warm-up event at Queen’s Club. The French Open was the first Grand Slam event that Murray has missed since 2007 when a wrist injury caused his absence at Wimbledon.

“Barring no setbacks in the next couple of days, I will be making an appearance at the Club of the Queen next week,” Murray tweeted.

Murray won the 2012 U.S. Open championship, and fell to Roger Federer in last year’s Wimbledon finals.
