Long Islanders Take Part in Eastern Section's Annual “Capital Clash”

Long Islanders Luke Louchheim and Alexander Karman were among the four boys and four girls chosen to represent the USTA Eastern Section at its Annual “Capital Clash” 10-and-under round robin tournament held over the weekend of Oct. 19-20 at the USTA Regional Training Center in College Park, Md.

Long Islanders Luke Louchheim and Alexander Karman were among the four boys and four girls chosen to represent the USTA Eastern Section at its Annual “Capital Clash” 10-and-under round robin tournament held over the weekend of Oct. 19-20 at the USTA Regional Training Center in College Park, Md.

Teams from five USTA Sections participated in the two-day event. Competing in singles, doubles and mixed-doubles, Luke and Alex helped their team to a close second place finish behind a very talented team from the Middle States Section. Luke Louchheim won the award for Coachability.
