Agnieszka Radwanska will meet Simona Halep in the semifinals of the Qatar Total Open on Saturday, after the two got past their quarterfinals matches to advance to the final four.

Halep, seeded seventh, made quick work of the number four seed, dismissing Sara Errani in just over 50 minutes, 6-2, 6-0. The number two seeded Radwanska needed a little over an hour to defeat Yanina Wickmayer, 6-2, 6-1. Wickmayer had beaten Radwanska in their very first career meeting four years ago, but Radwanska has now won all four of their meetings since in straight sets.

Radwanska leads Halep in their head-to-head series, 3-1, but the one Halep win came in their last meeting at Rome last spring.

Petra Cetkovska's run came to an end Friday at the Qatar Total Open, failing to advance to the semifinals and falling to Angelique Kerber, 1-6, 0-6. Cetkovska advanced to the quarters after ousting the top seeded Li Na just 24 hours prior. Kerber has yet to drop a set during her run so far at the Qatar Total Open.

Jelena Jankovic will meet Kerber for a spot in the finals, after her impressive 6-1, 6-3 win over Petra Kvitova.

"I'm pretty confident at the moment," Jankovic said. "I've been very focused this week, and played very well so far. Against top players, like Petra, you have to be at top of your game to have chance to win. I was just sticking to my game plan and luckily it worked. It's nice to be back in the semifinals here."
