In a matchup between two undefeated squads, the Bellmore JFK Cougars hosted the Mepham Pirates, with the Conference III championship on the line.

Both teams had dominated their respective conferences all season, with Bellmore JFK coming out of Conference III-B and Mepham coming out of Conference III-A.

Bellmore JFK outdueled its cross-town rival, cruising to a 5-2 victory and completing the undefeated season. The Cougars were led by Ross Binder who defeated Josh Gaufman at second singles, 6-4, 6-0.

The victory wrapped up an incredible season for Bellmore JFK, who finished at 14-0 and Conference III champions. While disappointed, the Mepham Pirates had a fantastic season as well, finishing with a record of 12-1.
