The Roslyn Bulldogs earned a spot in the Nassau County Conference I finals by defeating third-seeded Port Washington on Monday. The second-seeded Bulldogs edged the Vikings 4-3 in a thrilling county semifinal bout.

Katherine Changtroraleke knocked off Emma Rosenberg in an exciting three-set comeback. After dropping the opening set, Changtroraleke fought back to notch the 3-6, 7-6(7-4), 6-4 win in second singles. The second doubles match was just as tight, going three sets as well, as Ashley Messinger & Izzy Glick of Roslyn were able to outlast Sofia Welzer and Maddie Lane 6-1, 3-6, 6-2.

Roslyn moves to 12-3 on the season, and will meet Manhasset in the County finals later this week.

A fantastic match also took place in Conference II on Monday, as South Side traveled to Plainview for a quarterfinal match. The second-seeded Cyclones had lost to third-seeded Plainview in both meetings during the regular season, but were able to edge the Hawks 4-3 to move into the semifinals.

The deciding match came in fourth doubles as seniors Rachel Cope and Jordan Mansfield knocked off Emily Feller and Erica Silver 6-1, 7-5 to clinch the match for South Side.

Up next for the Cyclones is the top-seeded and undefeated Great Neck South. That semifinal will get underway Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
