Suffolk County Boys Teams Begin Their Spring Playoff Run

The boy’s tennis playoffs in Suffolk County began Wednesday afternoon, as teams battled in first-round action. The top eight seeds in the County receive byes into the second-round. Below are the results of Wednesday’s action:

Patcogue-Medford advances to play (1) Half Hollow Hills West

►(9) Northport defeated (24) Stony Brook
Northport advances to play (8) Connetquot

►(12) East Hampton) defeated (21) West Islip 5-2
East Hampton advances to play (5) Bayport-Blue Point

►(13) East Islip defeated (20) Westhampton 6-1
East Islip advances to play (4) Ward Melville

►(14) Ross defeated (19) Harborfields 4-3
Ross advances to play (3) Commack

►(11) Sachem East defeated (22) Islip 7-0
Sachem East advances to play (6) Bay Shore

►(10) Miller Place defeated (23) Longwood 6-1
Miller Place advances to play (7) Huntington
