The USTA has announced the names of 12 vocalists, all ages 14 and under, who will perform patriotic-themed songs prior to the night sessions of the 2015 U.S. Open, as well as on Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day. The lineup for this year’s U.S. Open features talent from throughout the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area, as well as from Michigan, Florida and Georgia.

For the first time, the audition age was extended to children 14 years of age or younger. Previously, the casting call was only open to those 12 and under.

The following is the list of US Open Casting Call winners, in alphabetical order:

Performing at his second consecutive U.S. Open will be Christian Bautista of Jersey City, N.J. The remaining 11 performers will be making their Arthur Ashe Stadium debuts, in front of anticipated capacity crowds.

Various members from the cast of “Annie” will be kicking off the U.S. Open by singing the national anthem at the 20th annual Arthur Ashe Kids Day, presented by Hess, on Saturday, Aug. 29.

Additional highlights include twins Kavina and Kaya Amin from Roslyn Heights, N.Y., who will be performing together during the second week of the tournament, and local Queens resident Madison Zamor, who will sing “America the Beautiful,” on Wednesday, Sept. 2, in honor of 100 years of tennis being played in Queens.

Earlier this summer, the performers were selected via a nationwide online audition, through which a record number more than 300 hopefuls auditioned. Performances were then reviewed by a panel of judges from the music and entertainment industries.

The U.S. Open is the world’s highest-attended annual sporting event, making this a great opportunity for the chosen performers. These children will join the group of music industry leaders who have performed at the event, ranging from Rob Thomas and Aretha Franklin to Diana Ross and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Earth, Wind & Fire. This year’s Opening Night Ceremony will feature special musical performances by internationally renowned singer, songwriter and actor Josh Groban and multi-platinum recording artist, and star of TV, film and the Broadway stage, Vanessa Williams.
