Hills West Routs Smithtown East

The defending Suffolk County champions Half Hollow Hills West improved to 3-0 on the young boys high school season, defeating Smithtown East 7-0 Tuesday afternoon.

With the victory, Hills West has now won all 21 flights in its three matches this season. The Colts will look to make it four consecutive wins when it takes on crosstown rival Half Hollow Hills East on Friday. Smithtown East will take on its rival Smithtown West next.

The Commack Cougars also improved to 3-0 on Tuesday, moving past Glenn 6-1 in a road contest. Commack was led by the duo of Ryan Schoenfeld & Evan Schuster, who defeated Joe Doherty & Gavin Farrina 6-0, 6-3 at second doubles.

Commack will take on Harborfields next, while Glenn will host Kings Park.
