Plainview JFK Beats Jericho For Third Straight Win

The Plainview JFK Hawks won its third straight contest on Thursday afternoon, edging Jericho 4-3 in Conference I action.

The deciding match came at second doubles, as Plainview’s Evan Lander and David Weissman defeated Jericho’s Aaron Chumsky and Jake Bernstein  6-2, 6-4 to clinch the victory.

Plainview now sits at 6-7 and in fourth place in Nassau’s top conference.

In Conference II-B action, Massapequa snapped a three-match losing streak with a 5-2 triumph over Calhoun.

The Chiefs were led by its singles play, getting straight set victories from Matthew Musalo, Matthew Waterhouse and Tom Finocchiaro to ensure the victory.
