ATP World Tour Announces 2016 Awards

France's Lucas Pouille won the ATP Most Improved Player. 

The ATP World Tour announced its year-end awards for the 2016 season on Thursday, as Roger Federer, Juan Martin del Potro and the Bryan Brothers were among those honored with awards.

Federer, despite having not played over the last few months of the year due to injury, was named the winner of the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award for the 12th time in his career, and won the Fan Favorite award for the 14th time.

Del Potro captured the Comeback Player of the Year award, as the former U.S. Open champion won the award for the second time, joining Sergi Bruguera and Tommy Haas as the only players to win the award twice.

Below is the full list of ATP World Tour awards announced on Thursday (the end of the year number one is still yet to be decided at the ATP World Tour Finals in London):

►No. 1 Doubles Team:  Pierre-Hugues Herbert/Nicolas Mahut

►ATP Star of Tomorrow: Taylor Fritz

►Comeback Player of the Year: Juan Martin del Potro

►Most Improved Player of the Year: Lucas Pouille

►Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award: Roger Federer

►Arthur Ashe Humanitarian of the Year: Marin Cilic

►ATP Coach of the Year: Magnus Norman (Coach of Stan Wawrinka)
