Former New York State doubles finalist Patrick Hannity has officially signed with Wake Forest, joining the Demon Deacons 2017 signing class.

“Pat is an excellent prospect and we are lucky he has decided to join our program,” Wake Forest head coach Tony Bresky told WakeForestSports.com. “His tennis accomplishments speak for themselves and we look for Pat to continue to improve and be an excellent contributor to our program’s success. He will be a great fit for what we are trying to accomplish and I’m thrilled that Pat is going to be a Deac!”

Hannity was a standout at Cold Spring Harbor High School and is the 157th ranked prospect in the country.

“I would like to thank Tony Bresky and Wake Forest University for giving me this opportunity to continue my tennis and academic careers at such a great university,” Hannity told WakeForestSports.com. “I would also like to thank my mom and dad for all of their years of commitment to helping me achieve my goals. None of this would be possible without them.”

Earlier this month, New York State singles champion Yuval Solomon, who plays his high school tennis at Plainview JFK, verbally committed to Wake Forest.
