With the regular season in Suffolk County finished, Nassau County is wrapping up its season as the playoffs for both counties get underway next week. Teams in Nassau are still jockeying for playoff positioning while others are trying to work their way into the playoffs, leading to some key matchups on Friday afternoon.

In Conference II-B, South Side clinched a playoff spot by edging Plainview 4-3. This match would determine the second playoff spot from the conference as Oceanside has already earned the first, and it was the Cyclones who came out on top on Friday. South Side got wins from first and second singles, as well as first and second doubles, to clinch the win.

In Conference I, Port Washington rolled to its 12th consecutive victory, beating Roslyn 6-1. Thea Rabman and Martine McGowan won their first and second singles matches, respectively, to give the Vikings the early lead. Mia Froccaro and Kelsey Sy remained unbeaten at third doubles with a straight-sets win as Port Washington improved to 12-1 and remained in first place in Nassau 1.

Great Neck North remained in second place with a 6-1 victory over Manhasset, moving to 11-2 on the season. The Blazers will wrap up the regular season on Tuesday against third-place Roslyn.
