The Roslyn Bulldogs advanced to the Nassau County Championship on Tuesday, downing Great Neck North 4-2 in a tightly-contested semifinal between the second and third seeds.

The third-seeded Roslyn, who had lost to Great Neck North in the two previous meetings this season, got the better of the Blazers on Tuesday. Sofia Remnek and Alex Irom clinched the victory for Roslyn with a 6-3, 7-6(4), win against Shannon Nassi and Talia Mirjani at third doubles.

Roslyn now waits to see who it will play in the final. In a match resumed from Monday, Syosset defeated Cold Spring Harbor on Tuesday to reach the semifinals, and will travel to top-seed Port Washington on Wednesday to determine Roslyn’s opponent.

The Nassau County Championship is scheduled for Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Eisenhower Park.
