The Round of 16 has taken shape, and the second week of action at the 2011 U.S. Open gets underway Monday, Sept. 5 with a full slate of top-seeded stars still in contention. On the women's side of the draw, a marquee matchup in the afternoon at Arthur Ashe Stadium will see the 28-seed, American Serena Williams, take on the number 16 seed, Serbian Ana Ivanovic.

Weekend action begins Saturday, Sept. 3rd at the 2011 U.S. Open and plenty of top seeds are sticking around this Labor Day weekend for their shot at the finals of the last Grand Slam of 2011 in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.

The USTA has announced a series of expanded fan enhancements and programming for the 2010 U.S. Open. This year’s Opening Night ceremony will celebrate those who “Dream, Succeed and Inspire,” with appearances by Martina Navratilova, James Blake and other notable celebrities, as well as a special performance by Gloria Estefan.
