The USTA has announced that country superstar Hunter Hayes, breakout duo MKTO, girl group McCLAIN, British pop rock band The Vamps, teen sensation Madison Beer and EDM prodigy DJ Salerno will team up with tennis icons Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal at the 19th Annual Arthur Ashe Kids Day, Presented by Hess, Saturday, Aug. 23 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. from 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

The USTA has announced a number of new milestones for the just-concluded 2013 U.S. Open. Overall attendance surpassed 700,000 for the sixth time, with the final tally of 713,026 ranking fourth-highest U.S. Open attendance in history. The all-time combined session attendance of 62,794 was set on Sunday, Sept. 1.

The USTA Nominating Committee has announced the nomination of David A. Haggerty as USTA Chairman of the Board and President to serve a two-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2013. Haggerty has served on the USTA Board of Directors for six years and is currently completing a two-year term as First Vice President.

TV ratings for the Men's Singles Finals of the 2011 U.S. Open between top-seeded Novak Djokovic and second-seeded Rafael Nadal were up over last year's Nielsen Ratings on CBS, with an overnight rating of 2.6 and a six share. The four-hour plus Djokovic-Nadal match of 2011 was up 18 percent over last year's finals match featuring the two.

The USTA has announced that consumer electronics giant Panasonic has become an official sponsor of the US Open in a new three-year agreement. Working with CBS Sports, the USTA and Panasonic will spearhead the first-ever 3D broadcasts of the tournament. CBS Sports will produce 3D versions of all the Arthur Ashe Stadium matches that it broadcasts in high definition on Labor Day Weekend and on Finals Weekend, Sept. 10-12.
