The USTA has announced the final fields for its Australian Open Wild Card Playoffs, sponsored by VocalCloud, which will be held for the second consecutive year at the Racquet Club of the South, a USTA Certified Regional Training Center in Atlanta, Dec. 17-19.

Another upset at the 2010 U.S. Open took place today on the women's side as 18-year-old Ellicott City, Md. native Beatrice Capra defeated18th-seeded Aravane Rezai of France, 7-5, 2-6, 6-3. Capra's victory moves her into the third round of the 2010 U.S. Open.

The USTA has announced that Tim Smyczek of Milwaukee, Wis. and Beatrice Capra of Ellicott City, Md. has won the U.S. Open Wild Card Playoff and will receive a men’s and women’s main draw singles wild card into the 2010 U.S. Open.
