Coming off an outstanding 2010 campaign in which they advanced to the World TeamTennis Finals, the New York Sportimes have announced their 2011 schedule, with seven home matches in July, including five at Sportime Randall’s Island Tennis Center in Manhattan and two at SEFCU Arena at the University of Albany.

Serbian Novak Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal from Spain, 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3, on Sunday afternoon in the finals of Wimbledon. With the win, Djokovic upped his record on the year to 48-1 and captured his first-ever Wimbledon title. It was Djokovic's fifth straight win over Nadal, the 2010 Wimbledon champ.

The ATP number one-ranked player, Rafael Nadal, has won 87.5 percent of his matches this year and 54.6 percent of the points he has played.
