Cold Spring Harbor defeated Hewlett High School 4-3 to win the Nassau County Boys Tennis Conference I Championship on Friday.

Cold Spring Harbor defeated Friends Academy 5-2 in the semifinals of the Nassau County High School Boys Tennis Conference Playoffs yesterday, setting up a showdown for the Nassau County title with Hewlett.

Last year as a junior, Josh Levine of Cold Spring Harbor won both the Nassau County and New York State Singles Titles en route to an undefeated season. At this past weekend's 2012 Nassau County Individual Championships, Levine, the top seed, defended the first of those titles in his senior season, with a straight-set 6-4, 6-4 win over his friend, Andrew Yaraghi of Friends Academy.

The 2012 Suffolk County Boys High School Tennis Awards Dinner will take place Tuesday, May 29th at 6:30 p.m. at Villa Lombardi's, located at 877 Main Street in Holbrook, N.Y.

Suffolk County held its 2012 Boys High School Individual Tennis Championship yesterday. Winner were crowned in four divisions Countywide, and congratulations to all who played this past season and good luck to all the graduating seniors in their future endeavors.

Tournament players and brothers Conor and Sean Mullins have been working together to help juniors less fortunate than themselves through a program they created called “Pennies for Players.”
