The Boys 18 Division began play on Tuesday at the 2012 Easter Bowl, as both the number one and two seeds, Mitchell Krueger of Aledo, Texas and Noah Rubin of Rockville Centre, N.Y., respectively, scored straight-set wins at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Rancho Mirage, Calif. The second seeded Rubin was a 6-4, 6-3 winner over Nick Wood of Knoxville, Tenn.

The USTA announced the top American juniors who will represent the United States in the World Junior Tennis Competition Finals. The event features 32 teams (16 boys teams and 16 girls teams) composed of players 14-and-under from 25 nations across the world.

Merrick, N.Y.'s Noah Rubin defeated Stefan Kozlov of Pembroke Pines, Fla., 6-4, 6-4, at the USTA International Spring Championships in at the USTA Training Center West Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. to advance to the semifinals at the event. The number 14-seed Rubin will next face Ciro Riccardi of Los Angeles, Calif.

The USTA has announced eight top American juniors selected to represent the United States in two elite 14-and-Under events in Europe: The AEGON Junior International, held in Bolton, England, Jan. 17-23; and Les Petits As, held in Tarbes, France, Jan. 24-30.

Eric Johnson, 17, of San Jose, Calif., and 14-year-old Gabrielle Andrews of Pomona, Calif., each swept the singles and doubles titles at the USTA Boys’ and Girls’ 18s Winter National Championships on Saturday. Many of the nation’s top junior tennis players competed in eight USTA National Championships across the state of Arizona last week.

The USTA has announced the top American juniors who will represent the United States in the World Junior Tennis Competition Finals. Among those chosen for the boy's team is local product Noah Rubin of Merrick, N.Y. who made the cut and will join teammates Jordan Belga of Elk Grove Village, Ill. and Stefan Kozlov of Pembroke Pines, Fla. to represent the United States squad.
