A distinguished physician, a veteran sports journalist, and two outstanding tennis players will become part of USTA Eastern history on April 29, as the Junior Tennis Foundation hosts the 24th Annual Eastern Tennis Hall of Fame Dinner at the Water Club in New York City.

The USTA has announced that it will feature a series of Kids Tennis initiatives at the 2010 U.S. Open, including a QuickStart Tennis demonstration in Arthur Ashe Stadium and a full day of QuickStart Tennis activities during Labor Day weekend on Saturday, Sept. 4.

The U.S. Open will take over Times Square in New York City on Monday, June 7, to launch the first day of the 2010 U.S. Open Ticket On-Sale and celebrate the U.S. Open, which will be played in Flushing, N.Y., Monday, Aug. 30 through Sunday, Sept. 12. “US Open Takes Times Square” will run from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., on June 7.
