The USTA and Intercollegiate Tennis Association has announced today fields for the 2011 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, which will take place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center’s Indoor Building Nov. 3-6.

Tennis Channel and the French Tennis Federation (FFT) have agreed to a multi-year extension of the French Open rights package that has been in place since 2007, keeping the network as the primary non-broadcast home of the world's preeminent clay-court championship for years to come.

USTA Player Development has announced the hirings of Stanford Boster as a USTA National Coach for Men’s Tennis and Jayadeva Devashetty as a USTA National Coach. Boster and Devashetty have already begun their responsibilities and will facilitate coaching and training for players in the USTA Player Development program.

Coming off an outstanding 2010 campaign in which they advanced to the World TeamTennis Finals, the New York Sportimes have announced their 2011 schedule, with seven home matches in July, including five at Sportime Randall’s Island Tennis Center in Manhattan and two at SEFCU Arena at the University of Albany.

USTA Player Development has announced that eight junior development programs in six states have been named USTA Certified Regional Training Centers as part of its continuing effort to develop the next generation of world-class American players.
