2010 Davis Cup Title Goes to Serbia

Serbia captured the 2010 Davis Cup on Sunday, capping a 3-2 come from behind victory over France. Viktor Troicki, who replaced Janko Tipsarevic in the final singles match, defeated France’s Michael Llodra 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 to clinch Serbia’s first ever Davis Cup. Serbia battled back after trailing France 2-1 on Saturday with a win by Novak Djokovic over Gael Monfils 6-2, 6-2, 6-4 that tied the match at two-all. Serbia defeated the United States, Croatia and the Czech Republic en route to the finals and eventual win.
