The USTA/Eastern/Long Island Region has announced that the second in its series of club owner workshops has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 12 from noon-2:00 p.m. at the United Way of Long Island, located at 819 Grand Boulevard in Deer Park, N.Y. Lunch will be served.

Called the "LITE," or "Long Island Tennis Exchange," the workshop series brings together Nassau and Suffolk club owners to help them to improve their businesses by working together towards common goals. The April 12 meeting will focus on cooperative advertising and will be led by Randy Altman, senior vice president, U.S. International Media, who introduced the topic at the first meeting. This time, she will go into greater depth to help club owners learn how they can work together to maximize their advertising dollars.

There is no cost to attend the workshop, but attendees are requested to send an RSVP to USTA/Eastern/Long Island Region President Danny Burgess by e-mail at amertwist@aim.com or call (516) 343-3597.
