Recently, Long Island Tennis Magazine had the pleasure to take part in a teleconference with Ana Ivanovic who called in her from San Diego while practicing for her next tournament. Ana discussed many topics, including her appearance at the BNP Paribas Showdown at MSG.  The following is an excerpt from our chat with Ana. The full interview will appear in the May/June 2010 edition of Long Island Tennis Magazine.

Q: You've played in tournaments all over the world. How does the crowd in New York compare to crowds in other cities?

A: New York is definitely the most exciting city to play in! The atmosphere is amazing! Playing at Madison Square Garden, where there is so much history, is thrilling and it's an honor to play in such a stadium.
