Merrick, N.Y.’s Scott Lipsky, along with doubles partner Santiago Gonzalez, fell to the top-ranked team of Bob & Mike Bryan at the 2013 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Calif. on Thursday night, 4-6, 6-4, 9-11 in just over an hour. Lipsky hit an overhead long at 8-9, which sealed the match for the Bryans to record their 27th match win in Indian Wells.

The Bryans will play either Treat Huey & Jerzy Janowicz or Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares in the final. They finished Indian Wells runners up in 2003 and 2006, and have won a record 85 team titles.
