The 2010 Easter Bowl, USTA National Spring Championships is a blockbuster showcase of American junior tennis that has been in existence since its 1968 debut in New York City. This year's event is taking place April 11-18 in Rancho Mirage, Calif. and Palm Desert, Calif., and features Boys and Girls 18, 16, & 14 and Under Divisions. The Boys and Girls 18s are also a top ITF international event with singles, doubles and consolation divisions.

Here are some facts on the history of the Easter Bowl:

-Every American tennis great has played in the Easter Bowl, including: Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, Lindsey Davenport, Jennifer Capriati, Tracy Austin, and current phenoms, Andy Roddick, Robby Ginepri and Taylor Dent.

-The event features America's future stars: The top junior tennis players (from over 40 states) in what the press calls "The Super Bowl of junior tennis"

-The Easter Bowl is the only National Championship where the top juniors in multiple age divisions, their families and coaches are all at the same place at the same time.

-The Easter Bowl will feature more than 650 high-profile influential teenagers, 12-18 years old.

-More than 500 family members and 150 private coaches will be on hand for the event.

-The nationally-syndicated, award-winning Easter Bowl TV special reaches more than 50 million households.

-The event features 20,000-plus spectators on-site; 100,000-plus in the community.

Boys' 14 Singles (Round of 32)

-Noah Rubin (2) of Rockville Centre, N.Y. defeated Jared Donaldson (17) of Cumberland, R.I., 6-3, 6-1.

-Thomas Fawcett (14) of Winnetka, Ill. defeated Philip Antohi (17) of Glen Head, N.Y., 7-6(3), 6-4.

Boys’ 16 Singles (Round of 64)

-Eric Rubin (16) of Lido Beach, N.Y. defeated Noah Joachim of Sparta, N.J., 6-2, 6-2.

-Howard Weiss (17) of Great Neck, N.Y. defeated Jose Gracia of Delray Beach, Fla., 7-6(5), 6-0.

Girls’ 18s Singles (Round of 32)

-Julia Elbaba (12) of Oyster Bay, N.Y. defeated Megan Heneghan of Tustin, Calif., 6-1, 6-3.

Boys' 18 Singles (Round of 64)

-Clay Thompson of Venice, Calif. defeated Shaun Bernstein (10) of Plainview, N.Y., 6-2, 6-3.
