This weekend saw two make-up matches take place in Nassau County's Conference II. In a make-up from Friday's rain-out, Oceanside defeated Lynbrook 5-1 on Saturday. Bright sun and a strong wind resulted in some unusual shot making as Oceanside's Flo LeGoupil-Maier outlasted Lynbrook's Jake Sandler 6-4, 6-4 in first singles. Several point were long rallies complicated by the gusting wind. Oceanside's doubles team of Jake Cohen & Mitch Plesser continued their winning ways in singles as Oceanside moved to a 3-1 record on the 2014 season.

The Chiefs of Massapequa High School defended their home court , defeating the Wantagh Warriors 7-0. Massapequa improved to 2-0 in Conference II play as Nasser Ghafar and Tom DaCosta led the way for the Chiefs.
