In a matchup between two of the top teams in Nassau County, Syosset hosted Port Washington in a semifinal contest.

The Syosset Braves were looking to stay perfect for the season, while Port Washington was hoping to get another shot at Cold Spring Harbor in the conference finals.

Syosset was able to pick up some key victories in its singles matches, holding off Port Washington and coming out on top 5-2. Henry Tell beat Alex Grossman at second singles 6-3, 6-1, while junior Dylan Granat won the deciding match over Chirac Doshi in a long, 7-6(0), 4-6, 6-3 battle.

The Nassau County Conference I championship will now feature an undefeated team from Conference I-A and I-B. Syosset (14-0) will face off with Cold Spring Harbor (10-0) at Garden City High School for the championship.

Over in Conference III-B, Bellmore JFK was hosting Glen Cove with the hope of reaching their respective conference championship.

Bellmore JFK picked up victories from three of its seniors, Jared Halstrom, Cooper Richman and Ross Binder to lead the Cougars 6-1 over Glen Cove. They now improve to 13-0 on the season, and will meet undefeated Mepham in the conference final.
