Sean Hannity to Join New York Tennis Expo Speaker Sessions

Talk show host to emcee interactive speaker panels

Long Island Tennis Magazine and New York Tennis Magazine have spent countless hours assembling the slate of speakers and panelists for the Second Annual New York Tennis Expo, set for this Sunday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. Just added to the mix is talk show host, news anchor and political analyst Sean Hannity who will serve as emcee and moderator for the panel discussion on Speaker Session #1: The Road to College Scholarships, set for 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Space will be limited for all speaker sessions and bracelets will be given out for those looking to attend these panel discussions on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day of the Expo. Attendees will be able to sign up and get their bracelets at the registration table. Please arrive early at the event to secure your spot for as space will be sure to fill up quickly. Doors will open and the Expo begins at 10:30 a.m.

In addition to Mr. Hannity emceeing The Road to College Scholarships Session, also taking part will be Session Moderator and World-Renown Tennis Coach Nick Bollettieri, along with Panelists Jay Harris, general manager of Sportime Roslyn; Lonnie Mitchel, head men’s and women’s tennis coach at SUNY Oneonta; Eric Rebhuhn, head men's tennis coach for St. John’s University; and former Queens College Coach Chris Tasso. The Session will detail what it takes for your potential collegiate player to obtain a scholarship opportunity and taking their tennis game to the next level in the college ranks will pursuing a higher education. The second Session, set for 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m., titled “Taking Your Game to the Next Level, will feature a Special Q&A With Nick Bollettieri,” and again be moderated by Mr. Bollettieri, who will be joined by Panelists Steven Kaplan, owner of Bethpage Park Tennis Center; Lawrence Kleger, director of the John McEnroe Tennis Academy; Whitney Kraft, director of tennis at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and director of player operations for the U.S. Open; Xavier Luna, director of junior tennis for the Advantage All-City Junior Tennis Programs; and Sam Miller, founder of ProgressiveWellnessLLC.

Following the inaugural Expo event in 2013 that drew in excess of 3,000 attendees, the Second Annual New York Tennis Expo will afford tennis enthusiasts and their families the opportunity to experience an expansive Activity Zone, extensive On-Court Play Opportunities, two floors of the best tennis-related products and services and several interactive panel discussions.
