The Suffolk County girls high school season is in full swing as a number of schools from Suffolk were in action on Friday afternoon. Half Hollow Hills East, Deer Park and Floyd all continued their winning ways and remained undefeated as we enter a new week of high school action.

Hills East notched its 58th consecutive victory over Suffolk opponents as it cruised past Commack 7-0 in a League I showdown to move to 7-0 on the year. Gabrielle Raziel led the way with her victory over Amanda Cave at third singles. Commack drops to 4-2.

Deer Park rolled past North Babylon 6-1 to move to 7-0 in League IV. The key match came in second doubles, where Deer Park’s Sammie Weeks and Stephanie Sink defeated Rebecca Delio and Lee Anne Fogerly 4-6, 6-2, 7-5. Up next for the Falcons is Babylon, while North Babylon falls to 2-6 and will face off with Brentwood on Monday.
