Port Washington sophomore Austin Egna improved his record in singles to 9-0 this season, defeating Joey Austin of Hewlett at third singles to lead the Vikings over the Bulldogs 7-0 in a Conference I-A matchup Tuesday afternoon.

The Vikings have now won seven of its last eight matches and currently sit at 8-2 in the county’s top conference. Its next matchup will come at home against a tough Plainview JFK club that has found its stride following a three-match losing streak.
