The Suffolk County semifinals will take place later this afternoon as the top four seeds will battle for a shot at playing for the Suffolk County Championship.

The tournament has gone as many would have expected, with seeds one through four all advancing to the final four.

Below is a preview of both matches this afternoon:

►(4) Ward Melville @ (1) Half Hollow Hills West
Half Hollow Hills West has been the class of Suffolk County all season long and will put its undefeated record on the line when it faces off with Ward Melville. The Patriots have had a fantastic season as well, losing just one match all year, a 4-3 defeat to fellow semifinalist Commack.

Hills West’s Dylan & Duane Davis are coming off winning the Suffolk County Doubles Championship on Wednesday.

(3) Commack at (2) Half Hollow Hills East
This will be the third time this season that Commack and Hills East square off. Hills East won both regular season matchups, 5-2, and 4-3, respectively. All four of Commack’s losses this season were to either Hills East or Hills West and the Cougars will look to snap that streak when it hits the courts Wednesday.
