The Jericho Jayhawks picked up its second win in three matches Monday afternoon, downing the Rebels of Great Neck South 6-1 in a Conference I matchup.

The Jayhawks were led by Samantha Galu, who beat Marisa Menist 6-3, 7-6(1) at first singles.

Jericho will play Syosset next, while Great Neck South will visit Locust Valley.

In Suffolk, the Commack Cougars improved to a perfect 11-0 on the season with a 4-3 win over rival Half Hollow Hills East.

In a crucial match at first singles, Commack’s Kimberly Liao beat Hills East’s Stephanie Chikvashvili 6-3, 6-4 to lead Commack to the victory.

Elsewhere in Nassau County, Roslyn hung on to beat Locust Valley 4-3 in Conference I on Monday to extend its winning streak to four.

The deciding match came at second doubles, as Roslyn’s Anna Dicker & Natalia Krol knocked off Melissa Cooney & Abigail Linnemeyer 6-2, 7-6(5) to clinch the match for the Bulldogs. The four match-winning streak has moved Roslyn to 5-5 on the season and right into the thick of things in a tight Nassau County Conference I.

Roslyn will look to win its fifth straight match when it travels to Manhasset next.

In Conference II-B, the South Side Cyclones edged Plainview JFK 4-3 to improve its record to 6-2 on the year. The deciding contest came from the racquets of Hanna Ditchik & Dana Croutier, who hung on to beat Erica Silver & Lexi Schaumbere 6-3, 5-7, 6-4.

South Side will look to continue its winning ways against Bellmore JFK on Tuesday, while Plainview JFK will travel to Massapequa.

The New Hyde Park Gladiators continued its undefeated season on Monday with a 6-1 victory over Hicksville. Daphne Sciozios knocked off Richvinder Kaur 6-3, 6-3 at third singles to lead the way for New Hyde Park, who will meet Long Beach in its next contest.

Hicksville will play Valley Stream North next.

While New Hyde Park stayed undefeated on Monday, the Great Neck North Rebels unbeaten season came to an end. The Herricks Highlanders improved to 7-2 with a 4-3 victory over Great Neck North. Randi Sarf & Nikiti Jethani picked up a big 6-3, 6-0 win for Herricks to clinch the match.

The Highlanders will visit Cold Spring Harbor next, while Great Neck North travels to Wheatley.

Plainedge won its fourth straight contest with a 4-3 victory over Baldwin on Monday. Michelle Carnovale continued her dominant run at first singles with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Hallie Melo, and Catherine Tignetti & Amelia Rothbell clinched the match for the Red Devils, with a 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(8-6) win over Asha Khan & Sloane Amato at first doubles.

Plainedge will travel to Wantagh next, as Baldwin will host Clarke.
