Syosset Gets Back to Winning Ways Over Roslyn

Syosset got back on the winning track Monday afternoon with a 5-2 triumph over Conference I rival Roslyn. Risha Maholtra came back from a set down to win at first singles, defeating Natalia Krol 3-6, 7-6(2), 6-1.

The Braves will take on Great Neck North in its next match.

The Massapequa Chiefs continued its undefeated season on Monday afternoon, knocking off Carey/Sewanhaka 6-1 to improve to 8-0 on the fall season.

In a rematch of a match shortened due to darkness earlier in the year, Julianna Romeo came back from a set down to outlast Caira Walker 3-6, 7-6(3), 6-4 at first singles in the match of the day.

Massapequa hosts MacArthur next.
