Long Island Tennis Magazine  will continue its local grassroots push by running a series of events and tournaments throughout the 2017 summer. The 2017 LITM Summer Series will kick-off on Saturday, May 20 (Rain-Date May 21) at Engineers Country Club in Roslyn, N.Y., as we host The Long Island Tennis Challenge. This event will consist of three divisions/levels of play, with the Men’s Pro Division featuring a $650 cash prize!

The Long Island Tennis Challenge is a tournament running from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., featuring three divisions of doubles play: Men’s Pro (5.0+), Men’s Amateur, and Women’s Amateur. The cost to enter is $60 per person, and that includes tournament entry, food and drinks throughout the day, as well as great prizes for all divisions!

The event brings together local tennis players of all levels, including some of the best players in the area. Not only did the spectators and competitors have the luxury of watching some great tennis, they were also able to enjoy some delicious food and drinks while enjoying a day outside at a beautiful country club.
