Next week, Bethpage Park Tennis Center will host back-to-back tennis clinics, both of which will be free of charge.

First, the club will host an IMG Academy Clinic featuring Nick Bollettieri on Friday, February 7 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. In addition to Bollettieri, the clinic will also feature representatives from IMG Academy, who will be present to answer any questions.

Following the IMG Academy Clinic, Bethpage Park will host its annual Coaches Clinic, which is open to high school and junior high school coaches in the Long Island and Metro regions. Attendance is free and each coach is permitted to bring two team members along with them. Bollettieri will also be featured at this clinic.

“High school tennis is one of the pillars on which Long Island tennis is built,” explained Steve Kaplan, Owner and Managing Director at Bethpage Park Tennis Center. “Coaches from clubs like mine need to work together with high school coaches to ensure that school tennis thrives, and that’s why I’ve been running this educational workshop for over 20 years. Nick Bollettieri and IMG Academy share this passion for school tennis, and Nick is going to again conduct an on-court workshop as well as be one of the featured speakers. I think everyone will have a great time and hopefully learn a little bit about how to grow school tennis and the sport we love.”

Both clinics are free, but space is limited. You can reserve your spot, or learn more information, by contacting Kaplan at stevenjkaplan@aol.com.
