Disco was popular and the best doubles team in the world was "John McEnroe & Anyone." That was a long time ago.

The BNP Paribas is coming to Madison Square Garden again this year and in one of the matchups John McEnroe, the "Michael Jordan of Doubles" is teaming with his brother Patrick (let's call him the "Scottie Pippen of Doubles") to face the current top doubles team of Bob & Mike Bryan.

This is going to be really fun to watch, but don't believe the hype of the Long Island Tennis Magazine advertorial, "The Tale of the Tape" which lists the accomplishments of the McEnroes as though they were just yesterday and not a generation ago, making this seem like a legitimate competitive match. This is high-quality sports entertainment and if it gets you really excited, be happy to know that in other sports entertainment news, Hulk Hogan has announced a comeback.

Consider the 1992 Olympic Basketball " Dream Team" with Jordan, Magic, Bird and Pippen ... perhaps the best collection of athletic talent ever. Does anyone believe they could suit up today and play a competitive game with Lebron, Durant Love and Paul?
