The Syosset Girls Varsity Tennis team has been declared 2011 Long Island Champions by default and justice has been served (no pun intended).

I have little to add about this sorry event because Longislandtennismagazine.com has finally stopped snuggling in editorial Switzerland and projected a strong editorial voice in "Controversy Hits the 2011 LI High School Championship."

Newsday reported this mockery of a competition journalistically, but LongislandTennisMagazine.com interpreted it and aroused community interest and passion. I have never seen so many strong comments to an article in such a short period of time. The tennis world needs a forum, but more so, it needs leadership. It was displayed here by the staff of this publication.
