Long Island's Cannon Kingsley was named an All-American by the ITA after his outstanding freshman season at Ohio State.

 

Northport native and Ohio State freshman Cannon Kingsley was named a singles All-American by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) this week.

The former Suffolk County singles champion posted a 12-1 record in singles play and 10-0 in doubles. He recorded seven victories over ranked opponents including two top 10 victories.

Kingsley becomes just the fourth Ohio State freshman to be named All-American, and the first since 2011. He spent the whole season ranked inside the Top 25 and finished the year at No. 14.
