Long Island’s Noah Rubin will make his French Open main draw debut later this month as the 22-year old won the USTA’s Roland Garros Wild Card Challenge.

Rubin, currently ranked 196th, captured his fourth career ATP Challenger title with his win at the USTA Pro Circuit Challenger in Tallahassee last month, and also won a Challenger title in New Caledonia earlier this year.

Rubin will compete in the main draw at Roland Garros for the first time in his career. He has previously competed in the U.S. Open as well as the Australian Open main draw where he upset 14th Benoit Paire in 2017.

Taylor Townsend won the women’s wild card challenge and will make her fifth straight main draw appearance at the French Open. She won USTA Pro Circuit titles in Alabama and South Carolina, and posted a 16-2 record in singles play during the wild card challenge.
