Port Washington defeated Plainview JFK 4-3 in a Conference I showdown on Thursday afternoon.

The match would come down to the first singles court as Gabriele Brancatelli came back to defeat Jared Phillips 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 to clinch the Port Washington victory.

South Side improved to 6-2 on the year with a 6-1 triumph over Farmingdale. Andrew Cardi and Ryan Trantel won 6-2, 6-3 at third doubles to lead the way for the Cyclones.

Massapequa edged Lynbrook 4-3 to get back on the winning track. The Chiefs got wins from its captains, Niles Ghaffar and Matthew Waterhouse, at first and second singles, respectively, to secure the win.

Hicksville won three of the four doubles flights and two of the three singles flights to nail down a 5-2 in over New Hyde Park. Abhiram Thotkura won a thrilling match at third singles, beating Minato Fukuda 6-7(5), 7-6(6), 10-7 to help Hicksville claim the win.
