Have you ever wanted to play on the same courts as professional tennis players? Do you want to experience playing on the beach in the middle of winter? What about meet and get an autograph from a professional player? The 2019 New York Tennis Expo will have all of that and more, and is completely FREE to attend.

Bring the whole family down to NYCB LIVE, Home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, February 9 as the New York Tennis Expo arrives to kick off the New York Open, Long Island’s own ATP World Tour tournament.

The New York Open will play host to some of the best tennis players in the world, including sixth-ranked Kevin Anderson, ninth-ranked John Isner, former Wimbledon semifinalist Sam Querrey, and the all-time greatest doubles team in Bob and Mike Bryan.

There will be professional tennis players from the tournament on-site during the Expo to sign autographs, do meet-and-greets and take part in the New York Open draw ceremony.

“We are excited over presenting the New York Tennis Expo and New York Open 2.0 so to speak,” said GF Sports Executive Vice President and New York Open Tournament Director Josh Ripple. “When we reflect on the 2018 New York Open, it was clear that the New York Tennis Expo successfully seeded the week which afforded kids, adults and sports and recreational companies locally and regionally a chance to be exposed to the new NYCB LIVE, our signature black courts and plain old fun and value that United Sports Publications brought to the party.”

The Expo will have something for the whole family. The Activity Zone is highlighted by the use of the main Grandstand court used by the professional tennis players, where local college tennis teams, along with special guests, both players and coaches, will be on-court all-day long conducting clinics for attendees. There will also be a 10U mini-court where young players can play on an official Net Generation court led by certified instructors.

The Kids Zone will feature a bouncy house, face-painting, balloon animals and other games and activities, and while the weather outside will be cold, get a taste of summer in the winter at the Expo with our Beach Tennis Court, where you can throw off your shoes and step onto the sand and you’ll be able to compare your serve to the pros with the Speed Serve booth.

We will have some of the industry’s top coach’s as well professional tennis players on our two separate Speaker Session panels which will also include professional players from the New York Open.
