The Nassau County Large School Championship is set after Syosset and Port Washington won their respective semifinal matches on Tuesday afternoon.

Syosset hosted Roslyn and while the two teams competed hard on court, they took time to put the rivalry aside for an afternoon as Syosset showed support and solidarity with their Roslyn peers to honor Drew Hassenbein and Ethan Falkowitz, two Roslyn players tragically killed earlier this month.

Syosset would win the match 6-1, and put them into a final showdown with Port Washington on Wednesday afternoon. Port Washington edged Great Neck South 4-3 in its semifinal on Tuesday, as Reed Paltrow won 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 at second singles to clinch the win for the Vikings.

The county final is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Hofstra University.
