Long Island native Noah Rubin will make his Wimbledon main draw debut next week after beating Germany’s Yannick Hanfmann 7-6(5), 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 in the third-round of qualifying on Thursday.

Rubin, a former Wimbledon junior champion, won all three of his qualifying matches, first taking out compatriot Michael Mmoh, then coming back from a set down to beat Ecuador’s Roberto Quiroz on Wednesday, before taking out Hanfmann on Thursday.

He converted on seven of his eight break point chances and fired 33 winners to win and secure his spot in the main draw of Wimbledon.
