Americans Fall Out of ATP Top 20

The latest ATP Rankings have been released and for the first time in four decades, there is no American male ranked within the Top 20. Since the new ATP rankings came out on Aug. 23, 1973, there has been at least one American man in the top 20 up until now. John Isner is currently the top ranked American at 22nd. Sam Querrey is currently 28th, Jack Sock is 87th, Michael Russell is 93rd  and James Blake is ranked 97th are they are the only other American males in the top 100.

The current ATP Men’s Singles Rankings are as follows:
