Eugenie Bouchard’s tough 2015 continued on Tuesday, as the Canadian was bounced in the first-round of the Topshelf Open in The Netherlands to Kazakhstan’s Yaroslava Shvedova, 6-4, 1-6, 6-4.

She has lost nine of her last 10 matches and dropped out of the top 10 even before Tuesday’s loss. This coming off of a season where she reached three consecutive Grand Slam semifinals, and even reached the quarterfinals of this year’s Australian Open.

Shvedova moves on and will play Australia’s Marina Erakovic in the second-round of the Topshelf Open.
