Port Washington Hosts Serve to Serve Charity Event

The Port Washington boys and girls varsity teams hosted a charity program on Sunday called Serve to Serve.

The program, which was started by junior Justin Suzzan, brought together around 50 kids from the Port Washington elementary schools to come and learn tennis from volunteers from both the boys and girls tennis teams at Port Washington High School.
USTA Eastern loaned the equiptment for the event which included many giveaways for the kids. The program will be held for the next four Sundays as well, and they are expecting even more participants next Sunday.
“All in all, a tremendous success,” said USTA Eastern Long Island Tennis Service Representative Neil Thakur.
