The U.S. Open announced it will have a 25-second serve clock on all of its courts during the main draw this year.

The serve clock is a way for the tournament to enforce time limits between points in order to increase the pace of play.

“We would like to keep the pace of play moving,” USTA spokesman Chris Widmaier told the Associated Press on Wednesday. “That’s our goal.”

The serve clocks were initially tested during last year’s qualifying matches.
